Travel geography

In the Baikal there is one of the largest subspecies of bears - Siberian bear. He lives mostly in a wooded area. Up to 2.5 meters long and 1.5 meters tall at the withers. The weight of the largest instances reaches 600 kg. Hair color varies from pale brown to dark brown, and some animals visible yellow and black tones. The bear is omnivorous. Generally the diet includes nuts, berries, tubers and carrion. Sometimes preys on ungulates. Baikal bears masses come ashore to eat insects and caviar of goby fish. Bears do not create pairs, which dwell alone. During hibernation in the den are born from one up to three cubs. The cubs stay with the mother until the age of three. You can often find a bear with cubs of different ages.

    Day 1

    1. Arrival to Irkutsk airport, where you will meet the guide and accompanying the journey of the forestry workers;


    2. Transfer by private comfortable off-road car to the habitats of bears;


    3. Placement. Lunch. Instruction on safety. Bath on the shore of a mountain river. Dinner. Meeting with a Buryat shaman near the fire.



    Gest house is sutuated among the wild taiga. House is the floor comfortable with electricity, gas and wood heating. The toilet is outside. Beds with clean sheets. Next there is a bathhouse on the shore of the taiga stream. It accommodates up to 5 people. Possible additional accommodation in tents.


    The wait staff lives in a separate house.


    Day 2

    1. After Breakfast, private car go fishing to the lake shore, where we will have to wait for the boat. After an active fishing on Baikal fish, which we catch to attract bears, we will have lunch on the ship, in the middle of the water and the cleanest air of lake Baikal;


    2. After "sea" lunch, off-road vehicles will return us to forestry, where going to bait bears and leave them there for part-caught Baikal fish, which lure them to our future foto hunting.


    3. Return to base, where we are waiting for taiga dinner and briefing experts about the upcoming photo hunting for bear. Free time, rest.

    Day 3

    1. After Breakfast, optionally, we'll go to shoot at a local shooting equipped shooting gallery, where we'll introduce a few types of weapons;


    2. After shooting gallery, on the car will go on a picnic to the taiga river, where you can catch the arctic grayling a local uniqe siberian fish. Return to base;


    3. Individual transport go to the place where we laid out the fish for the bears. Here begins the photoshoot, where in the silence we will be waiting the bears at a safe, specially equipped tower. For reassurance, the group is accompanied by a gamekeeper with a gun.


    4. Return to base by car. Dinner. Rest.

    Day 4

    1. After Breakfast, for your choice, can go fishing on the taiga river, walking free photo hunting (squirrels, chipmunks, grouse, grouse and other inhabitants of the Baikal taiga). Lunch at the base, or a picnic on the route of foto hunting or fishing;


    2. Optional - repeat-foto hunting for bear or photo hunting for deer (in advance);


    3. Dinner at the Base. Rest.

    Day 5

    1. Breakfast, transfer on the individual cars to Irkutsk, to the airport or to the hotel (individually with each group).
